GBW Group was invited to participate in the inaugural Microbiology Discipline Development and Industry-Education Integration Conference.
On October 18, the inaugural Conference on Discipline Development and Industry-Education Integration in Microbiology was held at Shandong University's Qingdao campus. GBW Group was invited to participate, joining academic and industry leaders in discussing future directions for microbiology.
At the subsequent donation ceremony for the "Four-Chain Integration" in Biomanufacturing, Mr. Zhang Zongguo, Chairman of GBW Group, signed an agreement with Shandong University's Institute of Microbial Technology to donate RMB 1 million for the "GBW Scholarship," supporting talent development and disciplinary advancement in microbiology.
Over the years, GBW has consistently increased internal investment in R&D, committing 10% of its annual sales revenue to technological research. The company has assembled a high-level R&D team comprising nearly 30 PhDs and over 100 master's degree holders. Externally, GBW has strengthened partnerships with leading academic institutions like Shandong University, pursuing more "zero-to-one" breakthroughs. Going forward, GBW will continue to focus on microbiology and strengthen cooperation with Shandong University and the National Key Laboratory of Microbial Technology, contributing its expertise to the deep integration of the disciplinary, innovation, industry, and talent chains.
The invitation to this inaugural conference not only recognizes GBW Group's scientific research capabilities and technology transfer achievements but also underscores its commitment to leading industry progress. Leveraging this opportunity, GBW will work with Shandong University to enhance the "industry-education integration and four-chain synergy" innovation ecosystem. This effort aims to accelerate the translation of research outcomes from lab to industry, set a benchmark for university-enterprise collaboration, and drive high-quality development in the field of microbiology.
